Established in 1970 by Roberto Raggio, IMS of Smithfield was originally based in the heart of London’s famous Smithfield Market overlooking St Bartholomews Square. Roberto’s vision was to create a company which would be the market leader in the meat industry.
Many of IMS of Smithfield’s early clients were local hotels and restaurants within the central London area but as Roberto’s vision grew so did the circle of clients around him. The client list soon included some of the biggest names in the catering industry.
Still a family-run business today, Roberto’s vision endures with the original vision now operating within a modern high-grade 15,200 sqft facility in nearby King’s Cross.
